Trenchless Pipe Lining & Repair

Tired of the mess and hassle of traditional pipe repair?

Clear Pipe offers advanced Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining, a trenchless solution that rehabilitates your damaged pipes without the need for extensive excavation.

What is CIPP Pipe Lining?

CIPP lining is a minimally invasive technique that involves inserting a resin-saturated liner into your existing pipe. This liner is then inflated and cured, creating a durable, seamless new pipe within the old one.

How CIPP Lining Works:

  1. Pipe Inspection: We begin with a thorough video inspection to assess the condition of your pipes and identify any problem areas.
  2. Pipe Cleaning:  We clean the existing pipe to remove any debris or obstructions that could interfere with the lining process.
  3. Liner Insertion: A flexible liner saturated with an ambient-cure epoxy resin is inserted into the damaged pipe.
  4. Curing:  The liner is inflated and cured, creating a strong, new pipe within the old one.
  5. Final Inspection: We conduct a final video inspection to ensure the lining has been properly installed and the pipe is fully functional.

Do You Have to Dig to Line a Pipe?

While CIPP lining is a trenchless technology that significantly reduces the amount of digging needed, it usually requires creating small access points. These are much smaller than the trenches needed for traditional pipe repair, minimizing disruption to your property.

Why are access points sometimes needed?

  • To insert and install the liner within the existing pipe.
  • To provide access for CIPP lining equipment.
  • To connect the new liner to the existing pipe system.

In some cases, existing access points, like a cleanout or manhole, can be used.

Benefits of CIPP Lining:

  • No Major Digging: Avoid the disruption and mess associated with traditional pipe repair.
  • Faster and More Efficient: CIPP lining is quicker than traditional methods.
  • Get More for Your Money: CIPP lining offers a long-lasting solution at a lower cost compared to traditional methods.
  • Durable and Long-Lasting: The cured liner creates a strong, seamless pipe with a long lifespan.
  • Environmentally Friendly:  Minimizes disruption and reduces waste.
  • Versatile:  Suitable for a wide range of pipe materials and sizes.

When is CIPP Lining Recommended?

  • Cracked or damaged pipes: Repair leaks and structural damage without excavation.
  • Root intrusion:  Prevent future root growth into your pipes.
  • Sewer line repair:  Rehabilitate damaged sewer lines without digging up your yard.
  • Pipe relining in hard-to-reach areas:  Ideal for pipes beneath buildings, driveways, or landscaping.

Our Lining Process:

  1.  Access Point Creation (if needed): We begin by digging a minimally disruptive access hole to reach the damaged pipe section. This hole is much smaller than the trenches required for traditional pipe repair.
  2. Inspect: We inspect the pipe with a camera to assess the damage.
  3. Clean:  The pipe is cleaned to ensure a smooth surface for the liner.
  4. Insert: A flexible liner coated with resin is inserted into the existing pipe.
  5. Cure: The liner is inflated and cured, creating a new, strong pipe within the old one.
  6. Inspect Again: A final camera inspection ensures the lining is properly installed.
  7. Backfill and Restore: We carefully backfill any access holes created and restore the area as best we can.

This method is less disruptive, faster, and often more cost-effective than traditional pipe repair.Contact Clear Pipe today for a free estimate and experience the difference our services can make!
